About me

Hi, I’m Aisha,  ~ the founder of Connection Circles

I am a trauma informed Early Childhood Teacher & Training Professional with decades of experience in the Out of Home Care/Child Protection space. I take positive to life and am passionate about all children having the best start to life.

~Life is short, so let's have some fun while we learn ~

I have spent my lifetime focused on children. With a background of over 20+ years in the Human Services sector, including; Out of Home Care, National Child Protection campaigns, Early Childhood Education and Organisational Training, I hold a deep passion for ensuring every child has the best possible start in life.

I’ve seen firsthand the impacts of trauma, abuse and neglect on children and the adults they become. Healing these experiences can take a life time. The power of connection,  is the best prevention, it allows children and their adults to thrive from the beginning.

I hold a GradDipECE, BHumServ, DipCS(CBC), Cert IV TAE and a Registered Circle of Security Parenting Facilitator, amongst many other skills and experience.

Training courses such as Therapeutic Crisis Intervention over decades, I know and understand what is needed in the moment to be a calm, safe person who can read behaviours and identify the need within. Each child needs their adults to have unconditional positive regard for them, to seek deep connection and understanding with them, especially when things get tough. So let's work together and get it right from the start.

Impact

Through Connection Circles — a heart-led business — we use evidence-based frameworks like the Circle of Security® Parenting™ program to offer workshops, training, and practical resources. Our work supports adults to better understand children’s needs, human development, play and the role of safe, meaningful connection.— a space devoted to nurturing children by strengthening the relationships that surround them. Embedded in connection, emotional safety, and developmentally informed practices, we support the grown-ups in children’s lives—whether in homes, schools, or communities — personally or professionally. At Connection Circles, we don’t just teach skills — we honour the sacred, often unspoken work of raising humans with love, intention, and presence. Let’s walk this journey together. 💛
